Down with Disease - Mock Show: EPIDEMIC NYE - Hyatt Regency 400 SE Second Avenue Miami, FL 33131

Q. Is the Mock Show still on?
A. Definately.

Q. Has the Mock Show switched locations?
A. Yes. We have moved to the Hyatt Regency Miami - 400 SE Second Avenue Miami, Florida 33131 inside the Jasmine & Hibiscus Rooms. The combined 7,000SQ of exhibition space is located on the Terrace Level of the hotel.

Q. Are my exisiting tickets to the previous location still good?
A. Absolutely.

Q. Why did the Mock Show decide to switch locations?
A. An investigation by county and state officials revealed that our former location, the EPIC Hotel, had installed a water filter powerful enough to remove chlorine from its city-supplied water - a move that unfortunately encouraged unbeknownst bacterial growth.

Scientists have discovered an outbreak of a rare pneumonia causing bacteria known as Legionnaire's Disease has been seemingly linked to the Epic Hotel. Samples taken from the property revealed chlorine levels were not high enough to prevent bacterial growth, according to an advisory issued to guests by the Miami-Dade County Health Department.

A large sink hole also recently formed near the Brickell Avenue bridge on Monday, December14th, forcing authorites to redirect traffic. The sink hole, in front of the Epic Hotel, is causing temporary street closures.

Mock Show is first and foremost concerned for the safety and well being of its attendees and exhibitors and acted immediately to procure a new location to assure the safety and security of our guests.

The Hyatt Regency Miami is conveniently within walking distance of the venue and will provide ample exhibition space for the Mock Show.

More information can be found on the Mock Show website.

Jim Pollock's Mock Show Poster Triples in Value Before Show Opens

Three days before Jim Pollock's benefit posters are officially released at the Mock Show: Red Rocks, the works have already appreciated in value and begun selling on ebay for three times their original value.

The run, that was created by Pollock and printed by Fred Hosman and Jewel Noll of HoscoPress in a signed and numbered limited edition of 500, sold on the Mock Show's website on speculation of what the finished design would look like. Collectors flocked to grab these unseen posters from the inaugural art exhibition with proceeds supporting music education in Denver area through the Mockingbird Foundation. $1,000.00 has already been granted to Red Rocks Elementary and more money will impact the local Colorado community thanks to Jim Pollock's Mock Show posters and event t-shirt creations silkscreened by hand by TabootArt in Denver, CO.

Very few event posters remain and will be available while supplies last on Saturday at the PollockPrints booth.

Tickets are sold out to Mock Show: Red Rocks. We encourage you not to show up without a pre-purhased event ticket.
